Thesen Island Activities and Attractions

Thesen Island is private and secure, and offers a safe and relaxed environment. Although walking distance from town, one need not leave the island (90 Ha) as it offers a variety of shops, coffee shops and restaurants. In addition, there are tennis and squash courts, cycling routes and beautiful walking paths on the island with 11 hectares of natural parkland boasting an abundance of bird life. It has its own private beaches as well as slipways for the launching of boats, and waterways to explore. It provides a perfect central location to explore the Knysna area and its world class golf courses.
